This concept, which was coined by the global labour movement and has since been misappropriated by elites, signifies that no workers and communities should be left behind in the transition away from fossil fuels. Accordingly, the JETP is presented as a key step towards a just transition in South Africa

A healthy community is one in which all residents have access to a quality education, safe and healthy homes, adequate employment, transportation, physical activity, and nutrition, in addition to quality health care.
Water, climate, and vegetation are deeply interconnected.
Vegetation plays a vital role in the global water cycle, influencing rainfall, soil erosion, and water quality.
Climate change, in turn, alters vegetation patterns and can exacerbate water scarcity.
Campaigns and Activism
We are the policy and action of using vigorous campaigning to bring about political and social change.
Activism refers to efforts and actions taken to address social, political, economic, environmental, and cultural issues. There are many forms of activism, such as marches, writing, community organizing, protest art, fundraising, strikes, and digital activism.
There are four different roles activists and social movements need to play in order to successfully create social change: the citizen, rebel, change agent, and reformer. Each role has different purposes, styles, skills, and needs and can be played effectively or ineffectively
